November 3, 2020 - Still in a good place - plenty of backbone left. Components a little disjoint, didn't see much evolution as we worked our way through.

October 1, 2010 - Very intense, completly wide open nose with yellow fruits, nectarine, minerality arrives after an hour and takes more and more room on the nose together with raw mushroom. Palate is intense, very fruity! Apples, nectarines again. Long finish with hints of apple skins. Excellent wine BUT my opinion that 2005 German dry rieslings might not be that long-lived is fortified. Acidity has now softened and with it the wines will lose its grip! Do not hesitate to drink these now!

June 9, 2007 - Light golden in appearance - nice nose with apples, orange, minerals, wet stones and some citrus. Plenty of acidity on the palate but matched with the fruit and minerals - this wine goes down very nicely and is particularly good with food. On the palate I can sense apple, melon, cream, lime, minerals and some peach in a nice long finish. Great stuff.

March 24, 2007 - Expressive nose of citrus fruit, stony minerals, rhubarb. Phenomenal concentration on the palate; slight sweetnes, or rather richness, supports the ripe fruit (rhubarb, lychee) and minerals. Long aftertaste.
