July 24, 2023 - PnP and consumed over the next two hours. 13,5% Alc., deep yellow-orange color.
Nose: Concentrated fresh 'Demeter Quality' apricot from the Provence.
Palate: Fresh initial taste, unbelievably intense high-quality apricot aromas, good depth with a wonderful balance and so drink animating. Although labelled dry and as a GG, it's sensorially a sweet wine and reminds me of the very best sweet selections from J.J. Prüm.
Still very young and just at the beginning of its best drinking window. Looking forward, there is justified hope that the wine will even get better - develop more definition, depth and complexity.1 person found this helpful Comment -

April 6, 2023 - Drop…dead…gorgeous. Over the last 30 years that I have been drinking Riesling, there have been a handful of wines that reached a point of convergence where the heart of Riesling lives. This is one of those wines. Molten stone, halved peaches seared on a cherry wood fire, grazed with the smoke of a freshly lit pine bough…it’s all a seance of Riesling, attended by Gods from Alsace, Germany and Austria. It’s one religion, regardless of sect. Please drink a bottle of this now if you happen to have one. It’s a talisman, a token of vinous beauty.

August 26, 2021 - This needed to be opened. Still good but probably much better a couple of years ago.

May 25, 2021 - Dekantert i 3 timer.
