November 30, 2012 - Prime for drinking. Packed with fruit and a nice easy drinking everyday wine.

December 21, 2011 - Agree with the first reviewer back in Jan - but i'm not rating as high. I've got a bunch of the alpha in cellar and tried a more recent B crux which was good.

This is old - but going very strong and i could see lasting a few more years! Complex, powerfull and need food and a little decant to fully enjoy.

Complex nose and body - full bodied - has fair amount "omph" up front with acid/etoh - transitions rapidly to deep and complex fruit/spice/tobacco and a little oak. Chewy. This is a heavy wine and I think has pretty darn good QPR to match this. Available at The Wine House in Winnipeg, but likely won't find this vintage. Opimium offers the Alpha at least. Producer seems solid, but don't have a lot of experience with them. Put O. Fournier on your radar screen. Cheers.

July 23, 2011 - Drinking well, delicious and dense fruit bomb without super-heavy oak.

May 10, 2011 - Really coming together after a few years in the cellar. The core is black with deep crimson edges. An abundance of oak in the nose and dark fruits. The same plum & spice is present, but more nuanced with a soft tannin structure. A real gem!

April 2, 2011 - Drank over a barbecue at our place. The nose is interesting and quite intense, but the palate is too sweet and jammy. Not to my liking.
