  September 18, 2021 - Loads of extract and structure. Needs loads more time. Big while not overbearing but not nearly the length or complexity I expect from this site. Hold until at least 2025.

  October 8, 2019 - La Grand Rue Dinner (Iggy's, Hilton Hotel, Singapore): This was pretty good. Not quite as fine as the 2001 Grand Rue, but certainly one of the better wines in the vertical. The nose had a rather funky note of earth, meat and forest floor, along with nice draws of dark cherries, blueberries and spice. The palate had a nice shape to it, with velvety tannins and fine acidity, and then solid, but still transparent flavours of dark cherries, blueberries, a bit of earth and spice leading into a midlengthed finish. It lacked a bit of persistence and intensity at the end, but otherwise a nice wine.

  March 28, 2019 - Bourgogne 2002 tasting. Many top wines from some of the best producers, Rousseau, Roumier, DRC, Leroy etc; 3/28/2019-4/28/2019 (Restaurant Palægade, Copenhagen): Served in the same flight as Grivot Richebourg, DRC Grands-E and Leroy Beaux-Monts in same vintage. This wine seems much out of place and frankly not in the same league. A bit clumsy and with no Vosne elements. An insanely good terroir that produces this in a very good vintage? I score it 91 because I suspect that the competition made it sem less of a wine than it is, maybe a little too generous with the points here...
