November 6, 2011 - PnP. Garnet with some light browning. Red fruit and cherries, some crushed dried leaves on its somewhat reticent nose. Palate has kind of muddied grapey fruit with light acidity. Has firmish tannins that helps pull the muddy fruit together, giving an overall not bad effect. A little rich for an Oregon pinot. Served with beans and morcilla which was about right for this wine (avoid lighter fare and seafood).

November 30, 2009 - This was disappointing - ripe, a bit stewy, saved only by a streak of acidity that helped. Not sure I would have guessed it as pinot, esp not Willamette Valley, a bit more like a CA zin. Maybe the year, maybe I held it a bit too long. Whatever.

August 18, 2007 - Very tasty tart red cherry and spice notes with pleasant acidity on the finish. Wish I had more.

March 20, 2006 - Lots of funk on the nose, which blew off after the bottle was open for an hour or two (would decant if I had another bottle at this age). Started out a bit rough and tannic, but by the end of the night this was much smoother with the fruit really singing.

October 17, 2005 - Very nice. Medium body, very supple, good fruit, little spice and back of palate.
