  May 20, 2018 - I have to admit that I don't know this region but was lured into buying this wine by this very website. I also have to admit that it is hard to write about how a wine smells when you need glasses to type coz the glasses seem to interfere with my smelling technique (a recent phenomenon).
  Anyway, well done Priorat for being 'knamazing and staying below my radar for so long. Also note that this doesn't hit its stride until 2 or 3 hours of decanting so may still have some yet. The nose has a lot of height with essence of prunes, blueberries and fig jam. The mouth is quite big but balanced, perhaps has settled somewhat (I haven't tried the younger version) with some honeycomb and chocolate orange.
  Finish fades pretty quickly but is very satisfying and moreish - a touch of apricot, pumpkin seed and some charcoal. I noticed that this is 70% Grenache. Long live Grenache!

  July 24, 2017 - P&P, opened up nicely over the course of an hour and a half. Still some fruit, but balanced by a dusty, dry finish. Drink now, it won't get any better.
