May 26, 2014 - Tasty, restrained zinfandel. Not a big jammy example but rather a wine with typicity in moderation.

January 30, 2014 - Much better than the last bottle. Not a typical Zinfandel, but enjoyable. More fruit, less spice/pepper. Too bad it's my last bottle, but also not a particularly memorable wine.

May 22, 2013 - Disappointed with this. Aaron was spot on in his note. Very light weight, which isn't itself a bad thing, just a surprise, but the balance is way off. Too acidic, too tart. I know single vineyard, single varietal wines are meant to showcase specific grapes, but this ended up being singular tasting. Utterly lacked the spice and pepper punch you'd expect. It also never evolved much over 5 hours.

January 21, 2013 - Decanted for an hour. Berry on the nose. Mild tasting, jammy but not overwhelming. A little tannic. All in all decent but not special. Better with food, especially prosciutto or something spicy.

November 3, 2012 - This was disappointing. Too thin, not well balanced at all. Some blackberry flavors and a little black cherry, but mostly too much tang and not enough fruit and pepper.

December 11, 2011 - Nice structure but otherwise unmemorable. Would not buy again.
