August 22, 2019 - Gargantuan oak on the nose: cocoa, cinnamon, and young bourbon, with a hint of garlic. Palate shows a big spirit flavour. Intense fruit: blackcurrant cordial, prune, and dried cherry. Lots of oak: campfire smoke and vanilla. Background notes of bay leaf and eucalyptus.

March 12, 2017 - Just a fantastic & impressive wine. Great in the nose, heavy but pleasant at the same time, simply "a bomb" and one of our favorites. Lots of sediment, so pour carefully or use a filter. Open at least one hour before ... Enjoy!

December 29, 2016 - Fantastic wine. After an evening drinking various wines, this one always tops it.
Open at least one hour before and make sure that the temperature is right (not too cold).
