August 4, 2015 - Stored in a 16 degree natural cellar; aerated into the glass by Centillino. Red-brick, pale meniscus and fifty legs or so. Vanilla, smoke and wood to the nose with red berries. Good structure to the palate. Long astringent finish. Pairs well with Hungarian winter salami, cerigbola olives, Compte, Asiago and baguette. Background arias are a big bonus!

December 16, 2012 - Drinking perfectly now and just so enjoyable. Bright cherry flavors and lots of spice. Sad to see this beauty wine go.

August 11, 2012 - Drinking just perfect now. Wasn't sure what to expect - my other notes were a little all over the place, but i really appreciated the rich complexities now. Nose has nice cedar/dark fruit/light oak. Palate is full bodied, lots of lush dark fruit that is encased in a light "cigar box" type quality. Some light notes also of a vegatial quality. Nice and smooth with light and well placed acid/tannin. Finish is long with similar notes ending on a slight smokey note. I would say that now 5 yrs on, this is delivering for price point. On the shelves currently is only the '09 in stores, but if you can find some older vintages i would buy them up.
