March 2, 2011 - One of the better second wines I have tasted. Obviously helps to be made out of a good vintage. Nice nose of berries and pleasant oak. Balanced and forward on the palate, distinctly medium body Bordeaux. Traces of blackberries, truffle and leather. A little short on the mid palate though and the tannins seems to have smoothened out so i don't foresee any further improvements with added cellaring, although there seems to be at least 5 more years left in this bottle.
