  April 1, 2020 - No flaws, just over the hill but for $12 at Grocery Outlet last year as something to use for tasting training why not?
  Needed about 90 min. Prunes, dust, raisins, black pepper. Medium acidity - virtually no tanins but finishes warm in the back of the throat. Cheap store bought berry pie filling, Ribena, smoke.

  January 8, 2020 - This wine has an awesome nose with high intensity and black cherry, earthy, baking spice, cedar, cocoa notes. The alcohol and red fruit on the palate are indeed somewhat dominant making the palate a bit unbalanced. But for this price point, nice long finish, beautiful deep garnet with orange at the rim. Worth every penny.

  November 23, 2019 - Past its prime. Plenty of stuffing, but raisiny and porty. Probably started its life a bit overripe, and age only accentuates that character.
