December 1, 2023 - A beautiful bottle at Taillevent, somewhat paradoxical as it was at its best just after uncorking yet seemed rather younger than one might expect. A few hours of delight with this wine, full of poached pear, orange and lemon zest, verbena, buttered brioche, and walnut oil. Still with electric energy in the mouth.

August 29, 2014 - Yellow gold colour appropriate for age. Nose bright fresh features of lemon, grapefruit, white peach with honey and butter. Palate developed with white pears and peach following with grapefruit and honey to a very stony mineral finish - very good length and grip. A really good bottle of mature white burgundy with no trace of premature death !

August 5, 2012 - Darryl’s birthday gathering at Art and Soul. (Art and Soul Restaurant - Washington DC): One of the sought after producers of the 90s pushing riper and oakier expression which is not a good thing for aging especially considering the 95 vintage. Honey, white chocolate, lemon oil and toasted sesame. Fat palate and the palate clips short. Extremely shy fruits in the nose, too fat and no precision. My rating may be a bit generous as I love honey/butter scotch note in mature white Burgundies

August 1, 2012 - brought to Burger & Lobster. tired with uninspiring semi-oxidised nose. I'd rather drink a cold beer.
