October 12, 2020 - Drank this over 2 nights and definitely preferred night 2 as the wine was softer and rounder and the fruit more expressive. Night 1 struck me as to how much this doesn't taste like a Napa cab and much more restrained and relatively muted. Personally prefer that more forward Napa experience but this was very nice

September 15, 2020 - Dark red, mixed berry nose needed 60 minutes of airtime to fully develop. plenty of dark berry fruit on palate, a touch of acidity, integrated tannins, long smooth finish. Great with prime grade NY strips

August 21, 2020 - I loved this wine in 2009, I loved this wine in 2014. It is continuing to be impressive. 9 of 14 bottles. Cool black fruit with no stewing. Long and delicious. I think this is their best vintage

August 2, 2020 - Give 30 mins to open. Very subtle...dusty blueberry, edge of raspberries and cherries, pencil lead and softened tannins. Long finish. Really integrated.

July 3, 2020 - From magnum. First bottle of this in nine years. Still super youthful, though the 19 years has nicely mellowed some of the largeness, and really has turned into a pleasant drink that went quite well with a tenderloin roast. Very bright dark fruits predominate, though a myriad of secondary characteristics are emerging.
