November 24, 2019 - Past its prime
November 4, 2015 - Much more enjoyable compared to my previous bottle. Good acidity and fruit notes that went well with beef dip sandwich.
June 28, 2015 - We didn't take good notes when tasting so going from memory. Before opening we thought this wine was it's end but were pleasantly surprised how good it was. We have heard that some of the newer vintages are better so we will have to check those out.
April 12, 2015 - Allowed the wine to open 1 1/2 hours before drinking. Nose is cherry with earth notes, medium bodied, dried cherry on the palette, with a pleasing earth brit moment before the pleasant tannins on the finish hit. Enjoyed with a salad. I was pleased with the bottle relative to the reviews I had read. I think the bottle probably should be consumed within the year.
February 15, 2015 - A wine to drink with a meal. Nothing offensive, but no highlites either.
June 11, 2014 - PnP and drank over 2 hours. I do not know whether my pallet has become more sophisticated, or whether this wine is not as good as previous vintages. Perhaps a bit of both. Fairly deep color. Earthy cherry taste. Moderately long finish. There's nothing wrong with this wine, but, on the other hand, there is nothing really exciting. Pleasant enough for a Wednesday night at home.
November 30, 2013 - This is a pleasant 2007 Bordeaux style blend. A little a little short on tannins for me. But past the tannins it made a nice wine to share with friends at a meal. I'd be glad to have it around for a comfortable evening.
November 29, 2013 - Disappointed. Not much fruit, the alcohol seemed to overwhelm.
November 6, 2013 - Thin, austere, little character. Certainly drinkable, but that's about it. OK on the P, but short on the Q to qualify as a QPR.
August 17, 2013 - Nothing distinct or memorable, but good QPR.
