Long, herbal and peppery finish - this wine goes well with a wide range of foods. Fresh garden veggies on the grill, Asian spiced salmon, even garlic beef. This wine can hold its own. I'll get another 2-3 bottles to lay down for 2-3 years and then open it with several others from the '08 harvest. No doubt it will be on the far end of flavor and punch, but I expect it will also bri g enjoyment.

  July 7, 2012 - Nicely balanced, fruit and oak with just enough acid. The nose promises and the palette delivers, reflects the '08 vintage.
