Critic tasting note: "Aromas of sweet black cherry, cough drop and smoke work well together and draw you in. The palate is full and pretty smooth, with black plum, blackberry and creamy oak flavors. It's just spicy and interesting enough to earn a Best Buy recommendation. Best if you like sweet, ripe Syrahs." - 88/100, Wine Enthusiast

Vintage quality: Good
Current condition: Ready to drink
The 2008 vintage for Chile was reasonably good.
The growing season was long and dry with drought significantly cutting yields and frost also struck at certain points further reducing the harvest. However, what did survive tended to be extra concentrated and intense.
