November 8, 2022 - Dark purple. Blueberry, oak spice, and earth nose. Medium bodied, boysenberries, blackberries, white pepper, smooth tannins, leather, good acid, dark chocolate, and a medium to long sappy finish. Much better than when I first drank this 12 years ago.

December 30, 2020 - This can easily go much longer. Drinking nicely right now with bottle bouquet starting to emerge, but I think there is more to come. Well balanced. Tastes floral but not much on the nose.

June 17, 2018 - Really elegant, starts off a bit austere but blossoms after an hour of air. Smoothed out tannins, dark fruit, hints of tertiary aromas, but still plenty of life left. No hurry to drink, but a solid wine right now!

January 30, 2016 - Opened this bottle since I have plenty to check in on status. No detailed notes, but this was pretty good. Notes of blueberry and bramble, medium plus tannin, medium acid, mid length finish. Decent balance, but a little lacking on fruit on the nose and palate. I was hoping for more. I don't necessary see it getting better, but I'll hold my remaining since I'm not in a hurry.
