November 4, 2019 - Not blind, tasting of 12 Legras champagne with Jerome
    Magnum, disg. 2005 or 2006
for homemade use, early disgorgement and higher dosage (10g/l) as usually. Nice roasted Aromas, very creamy with a lot of power. 92-93. I prefer it against the 2002 Magnum, Maybe because of the beginning aging signs.

October 23, 2019 - FVL: Legras & Haas tasting with Jerome Legras (new release "2012") (Franska Residentet, Stockholm): Maturing nose showing honey, some herbs, mint and minerals. Opens up extremely well in the glass with butterscotch notes in a very pleasant way. Evolved on the palate with a nice youthful mixture of minerals and lime citrus acidity and a creamy mid before the more evolved finish showing a lime zest bitterness combined with some tertiary sherry notes as it is moving into the next phase. This is really intense and lovely right now, but at the same time showing a glimpse of what will come over the next few decades.

March 18, 2018 - Last of my case and nearly 3 years since my last bottle, but this champagne remains in a fantastic place. No sense that this was declining in any way.

Golden in colour, fine and persistent beading. Nose of bread/yeast, with citrus fruits. Medium-plus length, good body.

Wish I had more, but looking forward to trying the 2008 now...

May 5, 2016 - (Disgorged in February 2012) Nice light yellow colour with a stream of fine and tiny bubbles showing a nose or incipient maturity with hints of flint, seashells, lemon and butter in a lovely combination! Very fresh and youthful creamy palate showing tarragon, raspberries and very long bitter lime peel finish that lasts forever...
Wow! This was feeling amazingly youthful and fresh, showing potential for a very long life. But it will be hard since they drink so beautiful already!
