September 19, 2016 - Excellent wine! Beautiful intense mahogany color that shows a bit of its age, medium bodied what an intense and bueautiful nose of blueberries! There is some raisins too and no traces of wood until it hits the palate. One of the best merlots I have recently tried!

February 21, 2015 - Bern's Steak House: Decanted briefly. Absolutely awesome. Ripe but restrained, complex notes of flint/mineral, mature currant, and exotic red plum. Still has verve and tension. In the zone at the moment. Drink now-2017.

February 3, 2014 - This has held itself well. Fantastic value for 12 year old Henschke. On the search for some more....Come on Langtons...

January 19, 2014 - this is drinking superbly. it'll be even better in a few hours. My son is showing quite a talent sensing flavours of the nose. he picked macadamia, apricot and peppermint before sticking in his finger, licking it and saying, actually daddy it tastes lick grapes. Not bad for 3 and a half year old.

October 20, 2011 - Dark red, showing some mahogany. The nose is super ripe blackberries, raw meat, smoke, mint, vanilla - stunning! less impressive in the mouth, but solid and ending with oak and somewhat drying tannin. but... the perfume is exquistie!
