March 21, 2024 - From 375, popped and poured. Clearly on peak drinking plateau from 375. It has the rich, ripe fruit typical of 2009, but still well balanced and good complexity. Simply a very enjoyable wine.

September 7, 2023 - Ikke dekantert. Stram, syredominert første glass. Dag 2 er fruktdag, og det merkes, langt mer vennligsinna og i balanse. Tydelig frukt. Strålende siste glass!

July 28, 2023 - Coravin fun - 2009 Bordeaux & Random Burgundies (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas show a little hint of cellar stink, dark hued fruits especially wild blackcurrant, aa little oaky spice, slightly baked notes, cedar. Juicy, blackcurrant tends to concentrate. Plenty of oaky sweet spice and woody drying tannins are very slightly coarse, it's a bit out of whack on this tasting

June 18, 2023 - Menu decant at the restaurant and then drank over about 90 min. Very open and ready to go, dark plum and cherry, pencil lead, hint of mint, great acid and balance, longish finish. This wine never disappoints and I always find 2009 a good bet in restaurants because it doesn’t need so much time to open up.
