March 30, 2024 - Tremendous nose of vibrant, red berry fruits! The palate is full of energy, fine texture and a medium finish! Absolutely no rush to finish it off! A nice bottle of fine claret!

March 6, 2024 - Dinner with Paul and Jeff (The George Town Club - DC): Classic Pauillac nose but a bit straightforward. Good concentration a bit chunky and rustic. Still quite youthful with generous fruit but not sure if this will improve. Terrible QPR.

January 18, 2023 - Bright ruby red in colour! Strong, very intense nose of cedarwood, wild red fruits, a hint of leather! Beautiful! The palate is equally surprising, rich, intense and yet, refine and silky in texture, dominated by the wild leathery fruits. Definitely my cup of tea, with great pleasure to enjoy it.
November 11, 2022 - Has a savory leathery character to the nose. Lively on the palate, fresh, very long and tasty. Right in its prime, I wouldn't take it father.

April 5, 2020 - Decanted three hours. Classic bordeaux lead pencil if a little austere nose. Medium to full bodied, fully mature this shows black currant, lead pencil and tobacco notes but fruit concentration is a little underwhelming and finish quite short. Overall this a solid Bordeaux but is several steps behind the grand vin in quality.
