August 25, 2020 - Blinded on the vintage but not a hard guess. This is drinking well and really fresh, opening up to be more expressive with time. Black fruit, pepper, green vegetative notes, dark flowers, cassis, wood. Simple and pleasant in good harmony. 92
February 2, 2020 - Actually livened up over the course of the evening. Pyrazines turned into some delicious fruits. Very good bottle.

June 29, 2019 - Coravin for our anniversary. Very good color, opened slowly in the glass and showed mature fruit vs the Caymus which had bright fruit.
April 26, 2019 - An easy afternoon with close friends (@ BV): At first I need to tell that, some decades ago, this wine has been a gift to someone with no knowledge about wine. So the wine has been kept standing up at room temperature or many years. Popped and poured this bottle showed a very mature bouquet with truffle and other mushrooms and autumn impressions. On the palate very mature as well with the same impressions. Chocolate and soy and still good acidity and silky soft tannin. An hour later the wine was dead and gone. No score.
May 31, 2017 - At the end of its window but some nice flavors left. Earthy, leathery driven with some overripe black fruits in the back. Bottle and cork were in an awesome condition.
October 29, 2016 - Had a window of 40-60 minutes then closed down and died badly. But in the meanwhile this is super giving and rewarding.
Dark berries, some red fruit, tobacco, smoked meat, earth and damp forrest notes - really nice.
Should be drunk within the next year.
