March 1, 2023 - Popped and poured. I was disappointed by this. The fruit has a roasted, over oaked quality and while showing good depth and concentration this is just not an enjoyable wine to me. Very different to many Aubert pinot so have had.
December 31, 2022 - cherry, cola,, oak, red fruit anf earthy raspberry predominate.. smoke undercurrent from a 2008 magnum. Served w charcuterie and fondue

February 12, 2022 - Five and a half years since our last bottle, the 2008 Pinot Noir UV was excellent, certainly as good as our last bottle in 2017 and much better than our first bottle nearly ten years ago. Still floral in the nose with black raspberries, black cherries, and licorice and raspberries, strawberries. plums, cherries, and some earthiness in the flavor. Medium to full bodied, this bottle showed nice complexity and a very long smooth finish. A glorious Aubert evening that started with the 2015 Chardonnay CIX, which we gave 97.
February 3, 2022 - Absolutely delicious! The bouquet was beautiful. The colour of the wine was spectacular despite the Age. Show the just below room temperature. Beautiful bottle.
December 21, 2021 - Popped and poured. This is in an excellent drinking window. Black and red cherry, herbs and a little truffle. Medium bodied with nice balance and layering. I would drink this in the next five or so years although it’s not showing any signs of decay
July 16, 2021 - The bottle was ready to go from the first pour. Rusty sheen on a clear medium garnet core. Beguiling aromas of sweet earth mixed with summer flowers, lavender and a hint of blood orange. A velvety swathe of mature red and blue fruit across the palate with good length. This was fully mature and really delicious. I will drink my remaining bottle within the next year or two.
July 15, 2021 - Still drinking quit well. On the nose and palate I am getting “Royal Crown Regal” like fruit. Tart Cherry with a very soft finish. True Sonoma in the mouth. At peak drinking right now and may begin to loose a bit further on?

June 20, 2021 - Fabulous wine. Excellent balance with lingering finish. Blackberry, dark cherry and sense of unique terroir. Still showing great, but probably at full maturity now.
March 5, 2021 - Still drinking very well. Well integrated with lots left in the tank.
