  December 3, 2022 - Just wonderful. The first impression is focused casis flavor with some plum in the background. The mouthfeel is velvety smooth and seamless. Flavor nicely evolves with some cocoa hints into a long leathery finish. Almost no sediment and cork was in good shape.

  November 12, 2022 - Nose was all cedar and some dark fruit. The flavors werte dark fruit, blackberry and plum with some cassis in the background. Had some acidic balance to it with bright fruit showing itself. The layered tannins - soft, and the acidic addition made for a long delightful finish.

  June 26, 2022 - A beautiful wine! Opened up after 20 minutes. First nose was full of dark fruit but as it opened it was all leather and tobacco. The flavors were delicious of black cherry and dark fruit and a long finish of vanilla and earthy elements. Hitting its peak! Beautiful wine.

  April 15, 2021 - Still tasty after all these years. Hasn't missed a beat but won't improve any either. Loads of fruit, blackberry and plum. Well integrated tannins. Perfect cork.

  May 5, 2019 - It has been a year and a half since I last drank a bottle and it still is a beautiful thing. The only down side was the the cork broke and partially disintegrated during extraction. I was able to insert a vinturio through the hole to access the wine. Once in the glass dark fruit on the nose. The palate was dark berries, tobacco,, licorice, wood and dried sage. The finish was long and full with hints of mocha. Just a great bottle of wine. I still have two more in my cellar and there is no urgency to drink them. They can sit for another few years I will just be more aware of the cork situation.
