March 24, 2024 - Very much enjoyed my last two bottles of this wine. Still some fruit, very smooth and drank very well. Certainly one to drink now.

December 20, 2023 - Good fruit, black currant, blackberry, dark cherry, herbal notes, leather, tobacco, gingerbread, and spices, with medium-level acidity, round, well-integrated tannin, and good length. Classic profile, with good balance and average concentration. The tannin turns a little rustic on day two, but other than that the wine still drinks well the second night. Classic Bordeaux. Drink now.

November 12, 2023 - Perfectly matured and very enjoyable PL. Noble cask, leather, caramel, chocolate, tobacco, toast, roast aromas. Drink now and over the coming 3-4 years.

August 22, 2023 - Not a match with food, but knew one guest wanted red (and prefers Bordeaux). Some cassis and plum, ripe ‘00 fruit, but the charred oak notes really dominate. We’ll see if time helps but hard to enjoy now. B-/C+

August 22, 2023 - Six years after the last bottle, this was interesting to try again: red cherries and cranberries on the nose and palate, with plenty of concentration, still very vigorous. At this stage, it is however lacking in elegance and I found it rather hard work, edging towards a certain stodginess. It could improve, because it certainly tastes very youthful still.
