March 24, 2024 - Very much enjoyed my last two bottles of this wine. Still some fruit, very smooth and drank very well. Certainly one to drink now.

February 17, 2024 - Exactly where you want this wine to be. Noble cask, leather, caramel, chocolate, tobacco, toast, roast aromas. A pleasure! Drink now and over the coming 3-4 years.

December 20, 2023 - Good fruit, black currant, blackberry, dark cherry, herbal notes, leather, tobacco, gingerbread, and spices, with medium-level acidity, round, well-integrated tannin, and good length. Classic profile, with good balance and average concentration. The tannin turns a little rustic on day two, but other than that the wine still drinks well the second night. Classic Bordeaux. Drink now.

August 22, 2023 - Not a match with food, but knew one guest wanted red (and prefers Bordeaux). Some cassis and plum, ripe ‘00 fruit, but the charred oak notes really dominate. We’ll see if time helps but hard to enjoy now. B-/C+

August 22, 2023 - Six years after the last bottle, this was interesting to try again: red cherries and cranberries on the nose and palate, with plenty of concentration, still very vigorous. At this stage, it is however lacking in elegance and I found it rather hard work, edging towards a certain stodginess. It could improve, because it certainly tastes very youthful still.

March 25, 2023 - The candid for sediment, as well as some light air approximate two hours before dinner. Moderate amount of sediment. Still nice dark red with minimal bricking. Reticent, nose of dark fruits and earth. Wonderful for the tonight, no major funk. Nice soft mouth feel. Good fruit and soft grained tannins tonight. Great mouth feel and went well with marinated grilled tri-tip. A pleasure and a great reminder of a trip to Bordeaux several years ago.

March 2, 2023 - Call it postitive bottle variation - this one really stuck out of the lot so far. Noble cask, leather, caramel, chocolate, tobacco, toast, coffee - a more than worthy companion of our sirloin. That's when patience is worth every dime. Drink now and over the coming 3-5 years.

February 20, 2023 - Initially bell pepper, smoke, tobacco, spices. With time, more spices and dried herbs. Good structure, still plenty of tannins. Medium length.
