March 24, 2024 - This wine was great. Nearing the end of the window in which it will be very good. The tannins are very subtle at this point. The wine is more delicate than it used to be, balanced flavors of ripe berries and a little earthiness.

December 24, 2017 - Ready to go. Big and jammy from beginning to end. Not a drop left. Next 3 years will be special (maybe longer?).
November 6, 2017 - 100% CS, 22 months in French oak, one third new. Nicely balanced, round and smooth mouthfeel, powerful but well integrated tannins, will age nicely another +10 years.
September 22, 2017 - Consistent with April 2017 note. Couldn't decant but slow oxed for two hours. Plush with fruit well-balanced with structure.
August 24, 2017 - Very good. Best taste out of the cellar in a long time. Ready.
August 6, 2017 - 2 hours in a pure, delineated blackberry aspect offered much interest. Overall the wine is in its window (early), needs a decant but excellent. (92)
