February 9, 2024 - Has developed a funk. Not quite completely gone but definitely WAY past prime. If I had more, I'd probably drink up within a few months. There's still enough left in there to be somewhat enjoyable, but not much.

June 26, 2023 - We drank with 2002 Hartwell and 2002 Switchbackrigde cab, The others were better. It started off great but lost steam. Drink up!!!

June 11, 2020 - A graceful mature cabernet with notes of dark berries, cassis, chocolate, licorice, and a bit of mint. Soft tannins and immediately pleasureable on pouring.

February 28, 2020 - Decanted for about 30 minutes and placed back in the bottle to consumed at a restaurant 2 hours later. The wine is showing it age but graciously. It has soft tanins, good and long finish and well integrated fruit vs oak. I don't see it getting any better but it will last several more years...
