May 24, 2019 - This wine out of bottle (no decant) worried me as past it's prime. Nose was old, with a bit of mustiness. First sip confirmed an older vintage. From there, this wine exploded with flavors. It just kept getting bigger and more dramatic. By the end, I was regretting not having more. Absolutely loved this wine and age has not done this girl any damage.

August 21, 2016 - Lots of ripe fruit and cassis with a prominent oak treatment. If high oak does not bother you or ruin your food taste, you will love this bottle! Well rounded and enjoyable wine. Medium to long length.

Complexity - not very 7
Texture - smooth 9
Mid palate density - pretty good 8
Proportion - pretty good 8
Finesse - good 9
Balance - good 9
All in all, a very pleasant wine. Not as fruit-forward as many Mollies. Certainly, not tasting hot. Good stuff.
