January 13, 2014 - This was really enjoyable. Not dark and brooding, more nuanced than many Syrahs. My last Esterlina Syrah via the wine club; I don't even know if they're making it any longer.

    July 27, 2013 - - Garnet color. It's balanced with a full body. Satin-Like texture with a long finish.

October 8, 2012 - Blackberry and pomegranate flavors, medium acidity, and just a bit of Jolly Rancher candy on the finish. Quite enjoyable.

June 25, 2011 - Great right out of the bottle. Well-balanced, lightly tannic, nice round mouthfeel. Smoky, leaning toward the blue fruit end but without resolving into specific berries for either of us -- a bit of white pepper, a hint of fat. Really nice wine.

May 3, 2011 - excellent value, balanced with spice...nice pairing with pheasant.
