April 16, 2022 - Nearly 10 years since my last bottle and still enjoyable, with similar tasting notes.
October 30, 2020 - drinking well, somewhat on the drier side, but a great mouthfeel. could go a few more years if needed.
May 12, 2019 - Beau vin encore sur le fruit avec
de beaux tanins ronds et une belle
acidité. Pas le plus long mais rudement bon.
March 23, 2019 - My last bottle, which has held up in the cellar for nearly 8 years. Great at P&P, 30-60 minutes later it was terrific! Same impression as on 4/19/17.
February 17, 2019 - A grapey nose of blueberry and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Super Tuscan blend, with black cherry, blackberry pie, some tobacco and sweet spices, a good food wine, drink now. www.winelx.com
November 19, 2017 - PnV. Medium crimson in color. Rich nose of earth and cherries, went a hint of bell pepper from the Cab. Medium in body with a healthy amount of acidity to keep things clean. Tart cherry flavor with drying tannins.
Enjoyed in a Riedel Vinum Burgundy glass at 62°F.
August 7, 2017 - Still drinking very well. Rich and earthy flavors lead the way with a bit of red cherry coming in for balance. Tannic and dry, needs food. Great match with homemade lasagna.
July 6, 2017 - Drinking very nicely right now. Cherry, earth, great acidity. Very tasty - had with turkey bolognese.
June 5, 2017 - Decanted thru Vinturi and returned to bottle 1 hr before tasting event. Same impreesion as 4/09/17 notes.
April 9, 2017 - This was the WOTN for the 5 of us drinking reds. Beautiful nose of dark fruit (blackberries), leather, touch of cigar box, very soft on the palate, medium to long finish. would love to find more.
