May 31, 2013 - Decanted 1 hour. Good balance, not a fruit bomb. Good with food, which is a compliment for a Napa Valley wine.

June 27, 2011 - Typical Napa Cab. Good QPR. Dark notes of coffee and dark fruits on the nose give way to solid, chewy tannins on the palate that confirm the Cabernet Sauvignon. Enjoyable.
October 1, 2010 - Aerated into a decanter and let sit for ~ 1 hour (actually drank okay after going through the vinturi but much better with time). Notes are after the wine has been open for ~ 3 hours. Fragrant nose - blackberry jam, creme de cassis, touch of vanilla & dark chocolate. Great mouthfeel from the attack to the medium + finish (longer than their Spring Mountain wine). Full bodied / great acid / fruit balance - flavors on palate are consitent with nose + black licorice, touch of tobacco & all-spice. Excellent with grilled Ribeye. Wine was great with or without food - excellent effort and given fruit / acid balance & nice drying tannins on the finish this wine should be good for at least 5+ years. Buy more (wife loved it as well).
