December 24, 2019 - I just tried the '06 Costanti and the '08 Stella di Campalto - the nose here may be the most pronounced, but I can't say I would call this Brunello blind. Very ripe red & black fruit on the nose.

Seamless but somewhat straightforward on the palate. This is not a bad wine, and to be honest, if you like California Cabernet you might think it's a very good wine, but I find it somewhat atypical of Brunello, and given the vintage, disappointing.

November 14, 2019 - Nicely maturing BdM; give at an hour or so of air, or decant for a half-hour. Drink or hold.

November 8, 2019 - Dark purple, brown edges. Beef iron tobacco, hints of coffee, silky mouthfeel, excellent qpr.

October 11, 2019 - Dark red color with some citrus in the bouquet. Ripe red and dark fruit, still quite fresh, with some chalk and minerals and plenty of acidity. Nice balanced. In the early maturity phase with some time to go.
