January 5, 2019 - Winorama: A winter in Wineland III; 1/4/2019-1/13/2019 (Portland/Willamette, Eureka, Napa): Off the wine list at Castanga's sister restaurant where we got a glass before our dinner. This was just wonderful. Very well aged. Sometimes at this point I feel like the riesling is all petrol and almost a bit offputting, but not at all the case here. Instead, there's that more root vegetable combined with a just hint of sweetness that was. Works.
