March 25, 2020 - Excellent. Earthy red fruit, brambles. On the palate, good acidity, more earthy red fruit, some leather. Very soft tannin on the finish.

January 23, 2020 - Delicious wine in every respect, way overachieving for its supposed low pedigree compared to more exalted Cote d'Or communes. Very dark, clear ruby color, especially for an '08. There is a whiff of fresh cerise in the bouquet, then a blast of ripe dark fruit including blackberry and cassis. There is purity and complexity aplenty. Perfect acid/fruit balance and finishes with a long and savory finish. Memorable wine and it would be hard to do better than this in Santenay. Certainly vibrant now, but has the structure and fruit to ensure a long future ahead. My rating may actually be conservative.

November 22, 2018 - Didn’t love this as much as my first time. Felt a little flabby and foursquare.

October 18, 2018 - Drinking great now, and many years to go. Really great lush fruit held in check with great acidity. Really enjoyed this tonight with dinner.

April 19, 2018 - Great bottle, and no rush to drink. Black cherry, baking spice, a hint of earthy leather on the nose. On the palate, great acidity, more black cherry, a hint of nettle and coffee, and a soft tannic finish. Very good right now.
