August 23, 2023 - Some Port notes overall, but alcohol too prominent. Some notes of dry dates on the nose; palate is a bit disjointed, good density but too hot on the alcohol which overshadows the fruit. Overall not very appealing.
May 19, 2022 - It may have been late at night but this was delicious
This was the note I left myself lol
Fuckin good man
-next night same thing-fuckin good-like 94
March 23, 2020 - Dark ruby, muted nose of baked red cherry, the palate is sweet with red cherry and not a lot else. Pretty basic and little disappointing.
September 23, 2018 - Tasted old, t
March 27, 2016 - Aromas of nut, cinnamon, wild cherry and raisin. Flavors of raisin, cherry pie, dried nut and prune. Very nice for the money.
December 18, 2015 - I have had this port on two ocations. Once as a desert drink at a Christmas dinner, and once as the primary drink with aa meal of braised rabbit.
By itself it is far to sweet to be satisfying. With the rabbit the dark fruit flavors seam to bold to pair with such a light meat.
January 10, 2015 - Port Style Tasting (Minneapolis, MN): Sweet, simple, slightly bitter, easy drinking. This was very disliked by the group due to the sweetness without much body.
October 31, 2013 - Bought at Costco for $11. has a grapey lollipop flavor. not especially flavorful. Is fairly sweet but not especially so. Alcohol is 20% but I did not taste it or feel it. WS gave it 90 points. NO WAY. you get what you pay for. The 85 points I gave it includes extra points for cheap price.
