April 3, 2012 - EDIT: much better the following lunchtime!
On opening, Pretty damn oaky, but fresh Califoria Chardonnay oterwise, perhaps a little on the deeper side, more Chardonnay-y than bright and fresh. I think they keep this on the lees, which would account for that. this is no butter bomb, however.
Won't knock your socks off, but pleasant everyday drinking and a cut above the everyday chardonnays. But wait until the next day and the honeyed smooth but not over-buttery chardonnay countered by nice bright acidity and soft green and yellow fruits makes this a wonderful drink. Tannins have also subsided and integrated nicely. REally Really good value for $15, and reasonable for its $30 list price. -

February 28, 2012 - Agree with the other notes- this wine has a nice balance of acidity and oak. Bright and restrained- definitely recommend it. Will have to pick up more.

January 14, 2012 - Golden-green. Nose ripe lemon and apple. Palate had the green apples, sharp, nice acidity, a hint of vanilla. Solid.

Oeil : jaune-paille moyen, viscosité moyenne en parois
Nez : projection d'intensité 6/10, boisé devant, vanille, pâte d'amande, miel chaud, fleur blanche, canelle, simple
Bouche : sec, gras, acidité modérée, amertume moyenne+, persistance moyenne, rétro boisée, vanillée, florale
Conclusion : simple, sympa, pas mauvais, trop boisé, manque de fraîcheur, rien pour écrire à sa mère. Mauvais RQP. -

July 15, 2011 - Nice easy drinking Charonnay. We had it with spicy Thai food, was easily up to it. Recommended for the price.
