  November 3, 2014 - A Vosne-Romanée Night: That is, yet another Potel. Some Spearmint on the nose, mature strawberries, good depth to the fruit; It is a fresh and linear wine, long, some power. Very good.

With air, it showed more complexity and the oak integrates. It reveals a chalky and dusty character. On palate this has crystalline freshness and depth. The oak integrates better as it opens. Or course, this is primary but shows interesting elements such as refined tannins. 2008 will be a vintage of freshness and clarity and good terroir expression. Not a big wine but a refined one.
