May 31, 2022 - First of three drunk on Memorial Day with grilled burgers. Really delicious merlot based Bordeaux, Good fruit, nice balance. Drink or hold.
April 21, 2022 - 85% Merlot 15% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet colour, intense aromas of ripe berry fruits, plums, Provencal herbs, vanilla. On the palate, full bodied, opulent, rich fruits, silky tannins, long finish. Fantastic Rouget from great vintage!

March 5, 2021 - This bottle had a difficult task paired with crispy duck and plum sauce. The soft sweetness of the Merlot coped well. Drinking well now. Quite opulent, very enjoyable. ***
February 27, 2021 - Limpid ruby with very slight garnet on the edge. Very slight clear rim. Nose was big blueberry on opening but much more discrete after a few minutes with more cedar notes. Palate is where the action is: fleshy blue and darker fruits, without food the tannin is very evident - classic Pomerol “iron fist in a velvet glove” - add food and this is fleshy mellow and really very good. Finish is long with a very pleasing firm grip. Great wine with many years ahead.

July 22, 2020 - 2 hour decant, dark, sweet ripe plums & dark fruits, dark chocolate, pretty full bodied, decent length, decent wine, would have liked a bit more refinement, hadn’t budged much from last bottle 2 years ago
