March 11, 2023 - Nez ouvert, un brin oxydatif sur la tomate, l’eucalyptus, la cerise le menthol et un brin d’épices
La bouche est simple mais agréable, les tannins sont fondus, le fruit derrière des arômes de sous-bois et de menthol, puis une touche d’épices
La finale est intéressante, longue, épicée mais peu complexe
Finalement je ne suis pas certain qu’il a valu la garde, de mon souvenir il était plus interessant en jeunesse, rendu là, s’il en reste aussi bien les oublier pour 10 ans encore et tenter l’expérience.
C’est bon mais sans plus, juste plate, du bon vin rouge de 14 ans…
May 22, 2022 - Not much to add to my note of July 2020; this is showing a little sign of age at the rim, has an appealing, spicy nose and velvety mouthfeel of resolved tannins. Fruit is holding up reasonably well and the finish is fair, but I think nothing will be gained by holding.

February 7, 2022 - Bottle was flawed. The wine was a very dark colour and it tasted cooked, almost port-like. I have one other bottle of this, which I hope has survived better than this one.
February 9, 2021 - Enjoyable, very good QPR. Exactly as expected this evening.
November 17, 2020 - 2nd bottle after 2 years. More astringency and tannins than 2 years ago. Strange phase with beautilful long cherry aftertaste. It still needs some time (about 3 years) to mature.
August 18, 2020 - OK but not memorable. Tannins still quite present. Except more from 2009
July 21, 2020 - A well balanced wine, just coming into its prime now. Nothing really memorable about it, but it's quite rich, slightly new worldish. I think I'll leave the other bottles a year or so to see how it develops.
May 16, 2020 - Balanced blend with consistent cherry & dark fruit tastes. Medium body similar to a California blend.
