Smells like cheese rind and sage (tagliatelle with fried sage leaves and parmesan?); hard-edged entry; tough mid-palate, closed and loaded with concentrated… something or other, which I couldn’t decipher this afternoon. Intoxicating in the nose, very ripe but not sticky or cloying, citrus, stone and tropical fruit, floral notes, jasmin, pear and pineapple
Palate ethereal, high acidity, mineral, tropical fruit, big body but elegant, a few coffee notes, pear, apricot, lemon tart, medium finish
