  July 20, 2020 - Clearly, Nalle's Zinfandel was never meant to be a long lived wine.
  However, the balance in this wine was good enough to keep it alive for 27 years.
  Yes the fruit is gone, but should you really be looking for fruit in a wine this age?
  what it does have to offer is a nice texture, tertiary aromas, just enough acidity and tannin structure to keep it alive. It's fairly short on the palate, not terribly complex but ultimately pleasing in a simple setting.

  December 20, 2010 - Lost most of its oomph but still some cherry and other fruit coming through. More interesting than great, but I enjoyed it.

  April 24, 2000 - BLACKBERRIES AND RASPBERRIES IN THE NOSE, AND A FLAVOR TO MATCH. LOTS OF BERRY FRUIT AND A MEDIUM LENGTH FINISH. THIS TASTING ALSO SHOWED BLACK CHERRIES IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR.
