February 11, 2024 - the color is dark garnet, long legs.,opened with aromas of berries,casis and mushroom.In mouth vivid fruit,coffe,whipping cream and medium tanin. it is quite young, will improve if given more time. but this is my only bottle,enjoy!
January 7, 2023 - Still pretty young, probably needs 10-15 more years for my tastes. Though drinking well and very impeccably made. Drinking good for a young Saint Emilion. Probably be phenomenal in time, if kept at right conditions.
November 12, 2022 - Past its prime I think. Bit of a chemical (ketone) aroma. Oxidized port-like taste and still too sweet for my tastes. Make sure you decant due to sediment. Paired well with beef goulash.
November 15, 2021 - I've been on the lookout for a 2009 Bordeaux that tasted like this one. For years I've been hearing that the vintage was rich, ripe, generous, fruity, sexy and so on, and while all that is indeed true, I never came across the adjective I sought --- until now. The `09 Gomerie is delicious. Yes, it's also ripe and generous, but it sure is a revelation to consume a Bordeaux that's yummy, too.
September 19, 2021 - Just a great St. Emilion from the 2009 vintage. Still quite youthful. There’s a wonderful “zing” that lingers on your palate. This bottle went quickly. With lamb shawarma.
March 6, 2021 - Pop, just a lovely wine. Dark fruit, with coffee scents and a sweetness on the palate. It’s 100% merlot, but it tastes like there is some are fully integrated, and it showed much less wood than my last bottle. Only one left, which I will wait a year or two for. No rush. 93.

February 25, 2020 - My last of these. I've always been quite fond of this wine from this vintage. This last bottle was a bit more simple than I remember, nice dark fruit, leather and quite a bit of earthiness. Easy on the palate.
July 1, 2019 - Nice brooding dark fruit, a graininess, minerality and some sweetness. Elegant and some flamboyance.
