July 15, 2012 - Nice wine, nice dark fruit on the nose with a little pepper and milk chocolate. It did need some time to open up and let some of the alcohol blow off. Dark cherries, blackberries, a little stewed plum, mixed with some pepper notes and cocoa on the pallet. Easy drinking and not too much of an Australian fruit bomb. Tannins were sweet and subdued. Not a conversation starter but great for a little glass while writing papers.
