January 25, 2007 - Dark maroon color. Full bodied wine. Nose of earth, cedar, barnyard, and some licorice. Flavors tasted like earth, and something that I'm guessing would be like a barnyard tastes (It sure isn't fruity). It had a nice mouthfeel, but the finish was marred by huge mouth drying tannins, and acidity that would make your tounge and cheeks tingle. We're going to hold on to our other bottle for several years before opening that one. It's just not ready now.
