Community Tasting Notes 7

December 15, 2012 - Pale yellow. Little nose. Typical, but weak palate. Tastes watered down. Would use for a crowd I didn't care to impress.

July 1, 2012 - Matt actually preferred this to the Ponzi Pinot Gris from last night. I however found the finish somewhat sour. A bit more minerality than citrus. Not unpleasant but pricey for the quality.

August 27, 2011 - Too slow in posting this note to remember anything useful other than that I agree with the tasters who call it a solid choice in the $16-19 range. Don't typically like Pinot Gris, but liked this enough that the mental score stuck with me.

July 14, 2011 - Was great with salmon.

May 14, 2011 - Good wine, not sure if it's worth the $18 I paid for it though. Chateau Ste. Michelle Pinot Gris is just as good for at least $5 less. But I'm not a white wine drinker typically.
