  January 7, 2015 - This was better then I remembered, and judging by my previous notes, has improved with some cellar time - to bad it was my last bottle. Decent fruit, though just a touch too much acid and little tinny. Clearly a lesser wine then the '08 Bluejay we had at the same time - but nevertheless very good QPR for the region.

  August 9, 2014 - This was from the year of big fires in Sonoma and there was a question of smoke. Maybe, but it was a lovely Pinot and nicely aged.

  January 21, 2013 - Brought and enjoyed at a dinner party, with minimal decanting before the first pour, and not much more than an hour for the whole bottle. Nice bright black cherry, a touch savory, acid. Satisfying if not sensational, balanced and no off flavors. Notable improvement from 2 years ago, but doesn't seem to have the substance to let run for more than another year or two.

  October 31, 2012 - I really enjoy this wine. Brought it to a tasting and it was a hit all around (even from the pinot-haters of the group). Did not make formal notes on this bottle, but it is a great value that drinks above its pricepoint.
