June 12, 2022 - Decanted over an hour before we poured. Second Corison Cab for the evening. This had a little more tannin than the 2006, so had a little more punch. Still showed great fruit and balance, with nice acidity. This was favored over the 2006, but by a slight margin as both vintages were enjoyed.

May 20, 2022 - Really underwhelming. Ok when first opened but quickly became thin and acidic.

April 10, 2021 - Decanted for at least 4 hours. Much better than last bottle of 2008 opened a year ago, so main difference is one more year. Neither bottle no where near as good as the 2007. So 12 years not enough time? Perhaps for this vintage.

June 14, 2020 - Decanted this for about 3+ hours. Nicely made, honest wine. Pretty nose, with some fullness but a bit reticent. Good balance of fruit and complexity to start, we were looking forward to spending a long evening with this wine. Unexpectedly, the wine did not get better as we went but lost it’s nose and fruit and became somewhat thin and astringent. Past it’s prime ? Will pop n pour the next bottle.

June 28, 2019 - Patio Friday 6/28/19: This wine was tasted with a 2008 Robert Keenan Napa Cabernet. Decanted for 2+ hours. The nose of the Corison was wonderful - intoxicating; one of those "Can I just park my nose in the glass for about 10 minutes and bathe in these aromas?" The flavors on the palate were mostly dark fruits with lots of depth to them. The trait that really struck us was the purity of the wine. It was just clean and unmanipulated (is that a word?). The essence of the grapes in the vineyard was wonderfully pronounced, yet in an understated manner. Other Cters have suggested that if you appreciate big, bold, smack you in the face cabernets, then this wine is not for you. I agree! If you appreciate purity and elegance - find yourself some Corison! The 93 rating is probably skewed upward because the Corison was
just so much better than the Keenan. The Corison was far superior! I have to believe this wine still has another 4 to 6 more years of prime drinking.
