November 12, 2016 - Decanter for about 1.5 hours. Smoky. Once it opened up it smelled just like some alderwood smoked sea salt I have in cupboard. Drinking well now.

May 16, 2011 - DC Berserkers - West Sonoma Coast - Ruth's Chris Steak House: Wow. This Syrah was awesome. Nose had tons of round and ripe blueberries and blackberries. Tons and tons of white pepper. Some wet rocks. Good amount of cinnamon, cloves, and other Christmas spices. On the palate, all that and more -- elegant, acid-driven, great minerality. This Syrah was rocking -- thrilled I have two bottles, wish I had bought a case of this. WOTF.
