October 23, 2020 - En underbar, balanserad napa i sin 'prime'. Tyvärr matchas den blint mot en Ch Ducru Beaucaillou av samma årgång. Kämpar väl men får ge sig....

March 23, 2020 - 14.5% ABV. Right away, there are aromas of mocha, plum, cassis, flowers, burning embers and leather. The 2008 Estate Cuvée is medium- to full-bodied, with black cherry fruit, semi-sweet chocolate and a smidgen of vanilla bean. There is ample acidity and good length in this restrained Napa Cab blend. Although this is mostly primary, it is drinking well at the moment, and could well improve with additional cellar time. 92.

September 18, 2019 - Considering the cost and pedigree here this didn’t live up to the hype. Awkward and disjointed the first day it became better (more integrated) on the second day. Score is averaged from day one and two. Hard to say if 5 more years of hottie age drastically improves things but I would suggest waiting if possible.
